Transfer/non-degree Credit Policy
GW may accept a maximum of nine hours of graduate work, provided it meets ALL of the following criteria:- It was taken at an accredited college or university
- It has been approved as part of the student's program of study
- It was completed within the last five years
- It was passed with a grade of "B" or better
- It has not been used to fulfill the requirements of another degree program
Students should pursue transfer credit upon admission to GW.
