The Graduate School of Education and Human Development is also accredited by The National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). GW's Graduate School of Education and Human Development has maintained its accreditation standing since 1954. In addition to its accreditation, GW's Graduate School of Education and Human Development received national recognition by the specialized professional associations for 11 of its programs, including the Educational Leadership and Administration program.
