These programs can also provide educators with an opportunity to meet multi-state course-work requirements for academic licensing of principal, assistant principal, and/or instructional supervisory personnel. Each program is approved by the District of Columbia Office of the State Superintendent of Education. Candidates will be prepared to take the School Leaders Licensure Assessment (SLLA) test for licensure upon completion of either the MA program. Depending on a Student's state of residence, they may be asked to complete additional requirements.
Depending on a student's state of residence this program may meet requirements for principal certification. Students are encouraged to verify requirements with their state board of education.
